When I made this, I wanted to try freezing it in a bowl. I read on line that the more you stir it, the lighter it will be as you are adding air each time you stir. I decided to use my hand held immersion blender. It created a shaved ice texture that was just perfect for this drink.
If you aren't crazy about bigger sized lemon peel, simply add all ingredients to the blender and blend for a minute before transferring to a bowl. That way you still get the flavors but not the texture.
